UP Board secretary Bhagwati Singh stated that complaints about marksheet errors were being received at regional grievance cells and would be rectified after cross-checking official records. Additional secretary (administration) Satyendra Kumar Singh issued an order requiring students to submit copies of internet-generated marksheets along with supporting documents when registering complaints.
Thursday complaints mount at Prayagraj grievance cell
On Thursday, Prayagraj regional office logged more than six new complaints. Notable cases included Manju Devi, a Class 10 student from Chaudhary Diggaj Singh Inter College in Sirathu, Kaushambi, who reported that although she appeared for Mathematics, her online marksheet showed Home Science. Additional reports included a Raebareli student marked absent in Chemistry, a Kannauj student with an error in Hindi, and a Kaushambi student marked absent in Biology practical.
Grievance cells begin functioning at five UP Board regional offices
The UP Board set up grievance cells at five regional offices (Meerut, Bareilly, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur). On the first day in Prayagraj, 17 complaints were received: 13 from Intermediate examinees and 4 from High School students.
