Senior police officers, including Deputy Inspector General Kalanidhi Naithani, arrived at the scene with SP Rural Antriksh Jain leading multiple teams. Police said more than 15 people have been detained for questioning, and CCTV footage from nearby areas is being examined to reconstruct the sequence of events. Liquor bottles, beer cans, and burnt cigarettes were recovered from the gym floor, suggesting alcohol consumption at the party. Six teams have been formed to arrest the accused and establish the motive, which is still under investigation.

Triple homicide at birthday party inside gym in Khurja

At around 11 pm, a birthday party hosted by Jeetu Saini at RJS Fitness Gym on Subhash Marg in Khurja led to a confrontation between Amardeep (35), Manish (32) and Jeetu. Amardeep and Manish are relatives of ward 24 councillor Sanjay Saini, while Akash (19) is his nephew. Jeetu left the gym and returned with a licensed pistol, shooting Amardeep and Manish at close range. Akash, who tried to escape, was chased and shot in the head a short distance away. All three died on the spot. Before fleeing, Jeetu allegedly removed the CCTV DVR from the premises to destroy evidence.

Khurja circle officer Shobhit Kumar said Jeetu Saini, the gym land owner, is already lodged in jail in connection with an attempted murder case dating back to December 2, 2025, in which he allegedly fired at a man outside a court.
