Three men, Shubham Upadhyay (39), Vijay Wadhwa (45), and Nitin Agarwal (44), all residents of Jhansi, were arrested by a joint team of police and SOG after an interception on the Kanpur–Gwalior bypass. The occupants allegedly tried to flee and rammed the police team, injuring two personnel. During search, eight mobile phones, a tablet and ₹84,500 were recovered; bank accounts holding around ₹50 lakh were frozen, and ledgers detailing betting transactions worth about ₹100 crore were seized.
