Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann held a road show in The Hague to promote Punjab as a destination for business and industry, inviting global investors with the slogan 'come, invest and grow in Punjab.' He participated in discussions with the Netherlands India Chamber of Commerce and Trade (NICCT), led by chair Edith Nordmann, urging enhanced bilateral business promotion and connections between Punjab and Dutch enterprises. Mann highlighted Punjab’s focus on value addition, export-led growth, and integration with global supply chains, particularly in food processing and manufacturing, and invited NICCT to facilitate sector-specific business delegations. He stressed the state government’s proactive and reform-oriented approach to investment promotion, noting that Industrial Policy 2026 is highly competitive and that the fast track Punjab Portal provides single-window clearances and time-bound approvals. The CM also engaged with the Punjabi diaspora in a community program, acknowledging their contributions to bilateral relations through cultural and economic linkages. Present at the event were Cabinet minister Sanjeev Arora, chief secretary KAP Sinha, and the ambassador to the Netherlands Kumar Tuhin, among others.
