Maternal and child health indicators highlighted
The chief minister stated that institutional deliveries in Haryana have reached 98.80%, contributing to a substantial decline in maternal and infant mortality rates. Full immunisation coverage in the state has reached 105%.
Digital health initiatives and care delivery enhancements
Saini highlighted the care companion programme training attendants, and the digital health initiative e-Sanjeevani, with Ayushman Arogya Mandirs facilitating more than 2,200 tele-consultations daily, enabling rural patients to consult specialists from premier institutions such as PGIMER, Chandigarh. Digital platforms U-WIN and eVIN enable end-to-end digitisation of vaccination and vaccine supply chain management, sustaining full immunisation coverage.
Haryana health sector growth and infrastructure milestones
Saini noted that Haryana’s health sector budget has grown from ₹2,646 crore in 2014 to ₹10,500 crore in 2025–26, a 298% increase. She cited the rise in medical colleges from 6 in 2014 to 17; MBBS seats from 700 to 2,710; and 1,479 health facilities certified under the National Quality Assurance Standards, with the objective of providing world-class care close to every citizen.
Haryana health budget for current fiscal announced
Chief Minister Nayab Saini announced that the Haryana government has allocated about ₹14,000 crore for the health sector in the current fiscal, a 32.89% increase over 2025-26.
Launch of Swasth Bharat, Janani portal and RBSK-2.0, plus compendium and training modules
Nadda launched Swasth Bharat and Janani portals, a compendium on best practices, integrated training modules for the primary healthcare team, and Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK-2.0) as part of strengthening digital and knowledge resources for healthcare delivery.
