Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) issued a press statement expressing concern over Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand’s proposed visit to Churachandpur, stating that the district’s situation remains highly sensitive and volatile and that deferment is advised until conditions are demonstrably conducive for safe, meaningful, and constructive engagement.
