Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav transfers ₹1,835 crore to Ladli Behna beneficiaries, emphasizes women empowerment

Yadav highlighted the representation of women in politics and governance, noted that over 34 lakh women farmers were linked with advanced agriculture and animal husbandry initiatives, and announced seven new bridges, including one over the Narmada river.

The CM stated that nearly ₹46,000 crore had been transferred to Ladli Behna beneficiaries since the BJP government came to power, with the total including the previous government crossing ₹55,000 crore.

Yadav commented on development works in the district, criticized Congress leadership, and asserted that the BJP would strengthen under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership ahead of elections.

The CM released a calendar showcasing Narsinghpur’s heritage, distributed benefits among beneficiaries, and provided laptops and certificates to meritorious students. Exhibitions were organized at the venue, and cow worship was observed.

The programme began with flower petals showered on young girls. The chief minister interacted with a child performing stick-based martial arts and briefly demonstrated the skill himself.

The CM inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 40 development projects worth ₹296.40 crore in Narsinghpur district. The breakdown included 17 foundation projects worth ₹215.65 crore and 23 project inaugurations worth ₹80.68 crore.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav released the 36th instalment of Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana, transferring ₹1,835.67 crore into the bank accounts of 1,25,22,542 women beneficiaries across the state via a single click at a programme in Mungwani, Narsinghpur district.
