Crime Branch teams raided Nai village at 3:25am. The suspect was hiding in a house. When the police tried to draw him out, he opened fire on the raiding team, injuring a constable whose leg was grazed by a bullet. The suspect fled and a chase ensued. He was cornered in a field, fired again when asked to surrender, and police retaliated. He sustained a bullet injury to his left leg and was finally caught. Both the injured constable and the suspect were taken to Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati Government Hospital for treatment; the suspect will be formally arrested after medical fitness is confirmed.
