The counting of votes polled in Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) will begin at 8:30 a.m., after the postal ballot counting is completed.
Counting of postal ballots to begin
Postals ballots will be counted starting at 8:00 a.m. on the day of counting. The postal ballots of service voters will be accepted till 8:00 a.m. on the day of counting. Postal ballots will be counted at the ratio of one table for every 500 postal ballots. Counting will commence across the 62 counting centres in Tamil Nadu.
