As of May 14, 2026, 1,992,238 people have been screened across the seven Bastar division districts, amounting to 57.12% of the targeted 3,488,000 people (34.88 lakh). Narayanpur leads with 68.49% coverage, followed by Bastar at 59.88%, Dantewada 56.24%, Sukma 56.02%, Kanker 55.38%, Kondagaon 55.25%, and Bijapur 53.12%. The drive identified 66,735 suspected patients; 27,992 have been referred for further care; district-wise referrals include Bastar (8,029), Kanker (5,511), and Dantewada (5,203). Treatment has been completed for 7,249 patients; 3,423 are under follow-up; and 1,284 have been referred to higher centers. More than 4,000 village visits and over 20,000 health sessions have been planned. Villages such as Puvarti, Potali, Errabor, Chintalnar, Orchha, and Abujhmad are now being covered, with teams crossing the Indravati River and traversing forests and hills to reach remote habitations. Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar Jha emphasizes that the campaign aims to bring healthcare to the remotest Bastar areas, including early disease identification and timely referrals, along with helping families access welfare schemes like Ayushman cards.
