A close relative of a BJP politician, Miten Chaudhary, was killed and another individual, Dhimant Chaudhary (husband of a Congress candidate), sustained serious injuries when unidentified assailants intercepted their car on the road from Manav Ashram Chokdi toward Tavadiya Road, dragged them out, and attacked them with sharp weapons, sticks, and iron pipes.
