An AIIMS autopsy report found death due to strangulation following an assault. In Kailash Hills, the accused entered the fourth-floor apartment at 6:39 am while the victim’s parents were away. CCTV showed him in the locality around 6:30 am and leaving around 7:15 am, spending about 40 minutes inside. He demanded cash, pressed the victim’s throat, strangled her with a charger wire, and attacked her with a water bottle and a lamp. He allegedly raped her while she was alive but unconscious, then dragged her body down stairs to access a fingerprint-protected locker.
