AICTE clears four new engineering courses at Sharnbasva University

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has accorded approval to Sharnbasva University in Kalaburagi to start four new engineering programmes — two undergraduate and two postgraduate — in emerging areas from the academic year 2026–27. In a statement issued on Saturday, Vice-Chancellor Anilkumar Bidve said the AICTE had permitted the university to introduce M.Tech programmes in Cybersecurity and in Power System and Power Electronics, each with an intake of 18 students.
