The centres will be functional on the upcoming Saturday (May 2, 2026) as part of a 'Khata Mela' campaign titled 'Nanna Khata, Nanna Swathu'. Applicants whose documents require verification will receive an acknowledgement and be asked to return after 15 days for site inspections.

The government plans to integrate Aadhaar details and connect records online. He said applicants needing documentation or verification will receive an acknowledgement and must return after 15 days for site inspections. The initiative includes opening over 50 centres across Bengaluru, including in government schools, to help residents apply or rectify e-Khata records. The government has also reclaimed roads from revenue records as government land, and the Union government has recognised the initiative as a model for the country. He projected around 10 lakh more households benefiting and said printed copies will be delivered free to homes for those who have not downloaded their e-Khata. All 37,460 flats with occupancy certificates have been cleared.
