During the ongoing investigation, police arrested several accused from Mumbai, Mira Road and Gujarat. Ten people, including two women, were arrested, and a total of 6.8 kg of MD worth approximately ₹13.61 crore had been recovered across the operation. The accused were named as Firdos Arbaz Qureshi, Arbaz Vakil Qureshi, Moiz Javed Khan, Arman Ali Kalam Ali Rain, Sunil Kamal Yadav, Mohammad Wasim Yusuf Sheikh, Irfan Anwar Kudiya, Arafat Shamsuddin Ansari, Khalda Arafat Ansari and Akash Satyaram Yadav. Inspector Pramod Badak of MBVV crime branch Unit 4 said the gang had been fully dismantled, and women were used to transport drugs from Mumbai and Gujarat to Mira Road for sale.

They recovered 1.3 kg of mephedrone (MD), valued at ₹2.66 crore, from the flat belonging to accused Firdos Arbaz Qureshi. Investigators stated the seized narcotics belonged to her husband, Arbaz Vakil Qureshi. A case under the NDPS Act, 1985 was registered.
